2026 Campaign Objectives & Season Goals
OWNER DRIVER
Having joined Jack Dex Racing, he will focus on developing his skills through regular test days and selected championship races. His priority is to train, improve and gain valuable experience within the JDR environment, building the foundations he needs for future progression in karting.

Jamal has made an earlier than expected step up to the British Karting Championship (BKC), competing in the all-new E10 electric karting category. This three-round championship marks the first time the E10 powertrain has been introduced in BKC history, making it a significant milestone for the sport.

Getting off to a strong start, Jamal delivered an impressive performance in Round 1, securing a P4 finish against a competitive field. Building on this promising debut, he is excited to continue his campaign and aims to push even further in the upcoming rounds at Kimbolton and Whilton Mill.

2026 Season Progression
In 2026, Jamal made a major step forward by joining Jack Dex Racing (JDR), continuing his development within a professional team environment. Working closely with JDR, he is training, testing and refining his racecraft through structured team sessions alongside competitive race outings.

This progress has already led to an earlier than expected entry into the British Karting Championship, where Jamal is competing in the new E10 electric category. Alongside this high-level experience, he continues to build valuable track time and consistency to support his long-term development.

Having already passed his ARKS test, Jamal remains focused on completing the remaining requirements for his racing licences. He is working towards finishing his novice races to come off novice plates, followed by securing his National licence — an important step that will further expand his opportunities at national level.

Looking ahead to 2027, Jamal aims to build on his current momentum by competing consistently across high-level championships, continuing to develop his racecraft, consistency and competitiveness. With strong performances, ongoing support and the right opportunities, he will be well positioned to further establish himself within the British Karting arena.
Data & Precision
A major focus of Jamal’s 2026 campaign is mastering the data that drives elite performance. He wants to take his game to the next level by understanding every metric that matters, lap times, sector splits, tyre behaviour, racing lines, and how tiny adjustments translate into real speed. This season isn’t just about racing harder; it’s about racing smarter. Jamal is committed to learning the science behind his craft so he can make informed decisions, refine his technique, and develop with purpose. Precision is becoming part of his DNA, and the more he understands the numbers, the more dangerous he becomes on track.
Advanced Sim Training & Technical Development
Jamal’s simulator programme is a cornerstone of his development, and he treats it with the same seriousness as real‑world racing. Using top‑tier equipment, the Moza R9 V3 wheelbase, Moza steering wheel, and CRP2 pedals paired with KartSim UK Pro, he trains with professional‑grade precision. As an official KartSim Driver Affiliate, Jamal uses the platform to learn braking points, racing lines, track flow, and racecraft for many of the UK’s leading circuits. The simulator allows him to practise overtaking, defensive driving, and high‑pressure scenarios in a safe, repeatable environment, sharpening his decision‑making and confidence before he even arrives at the track. KartSim’s data tools help him analyse throttle application, braking zones, steering inputs, and lap consistency, supporting the data‑driven approach he’s working hard to master. For a young driver with ADHD, the structure and predictability of sim training also play a key role in his mental preparation, helping him arrive at race weekends focused, calm, and ready to execute. Altogether, sim work isn’t just part of Jamal’s routine, it’s a fundamental pillar of his racing DNA and a major driver of his rapid progression.

BEYOND KARTING
Jamal’s 2026 goals reach far beyond karting. While karting remains the foundation of his racing journey, he is already expanding his skill set across the wider world of motorsport. Using his Moza FSR2 steering wheel, high‑end simulator hardware and full F1 style software, he is training to understand the demands of single seater racing, including braking forces, steering precision, race strategy and the rhythm of Formula circuits. He also uses iRacing to expose himself to different cars, tracks and racing disciplines, building adaptability and race intelligence that will support him in the long term. Jamal does not want to limit himself to one category; he is deliberately developing a complete motorsport toolkit. Every session, every lap and every piece of data he studies is part of a bigger vision: becoming a versatile, future‑ready driver capable of succeeding in whatever racing path he chooses.
